AT Douai Pavilion
Douai Pavilion Spring Supper
Thursday 24th April 2025
Our speaker is Jonathan Bradley who has had a varied career in politics, business and the academic world. He is currently President of the Executive Board of a United Nations-connected organisation in the Balkan region of south-eastern Europe. He has also published several books, most recently a novel. In his illustrated talk, The Balkans: Violence, Mystery and Romance, he will recount some of his personal experiences in the Balkans over a period of fifty years. These include being arrested in Albania, travelling to former war zones in Bosnia and Kosovo, and meeting the President of Bulgaria during a street demonstration.
It will be a fascinating talk!
