Now for something entirely different!

Our next At Douai Pavilion supper is on Thursday May 30th when Thomas Forrester is joining us.
Thomas is an auctioneer as well as a TV presenter who runs his own auction house

Special Auction Services in Newbury
 
The expert, who has a broad knowledge of antiques, specialises in jewellery,

ceramics, works of art, watches and silver.

Outside of SAS and Bargain Hunt, Thomas is the auctioneer for the

UK’s largest auction of Entertainment Memorabilia.

Our supper this evening will be provided by Abi Brown who is well known for her excellent catering at local events, including the Lords Taverners lunches at Douai.

​

Abi will be providing assorted nibbles with drinks

The main course will be Tuscan chicken - succulent chicken in a masala wine and cream sauce with olives, roasted red onion, green beans, rocket and parmesan shavings served with tiny new potatoes.

This will be followed by
summer fruit mini pavlovas with lemon curd and passion fruitt

Following on from the very successful run of socials last year, our 2024 series of events begins on

 

 

The bar will be open from 6.45pm
Credit cards and cash accepted.
The talk will start at 7.30pm
